Pipasha was awarded the Mayor’s Volunteer for Cambridge Award 2020-21 for its contribution to the community during the Pandemic. During the Pandemic, Pipasha launched a donate a meal scheme which saw hot food prepared by Pipasha Restaurant and delivered to the most needy in the community and front line staff in partnership with community organisations including Cambridge United Community Trust and Cambridge Sustainable Food. Pipasha continues to distribute essentials on a regular basis to local food hubs with donations from customers, which Pipasha matches.
